Fibromyalgia or FM: Extreme fatigue, chronic pain
By learning about its symptoms and effective chronic pain management strategies, you can empower yourself to live life with fibromyalgia.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2021, but the symptoms presented many years before that diagnosis.
Along with fibromyalgia, I also have Grover's disease, osteoarthritis of the hip, chilblains, Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), gastritis, rosacea, and eczema so I understand trying to navigate so many conditions all at once.
In the beginning of my journey with fibromyalgia, I was bedridden, 60 pounds heavier and did not have a good quality of life. The muscle spasms, nerve pain, fatigue, paresthesia, and pain were very debilitating. However, with a strong determination to get back to my active life, I grew my knowledge of fibromyalgia every single day. It took a long time to get to where I am now but I am very proud of myself for how far I have come.
I love to travel and hike, and very thankful I am now able to get back to that lifestyle, with some limitations of course.
I want to help others navigate chronic pain management and truly live a full life with fibromyalgia.

I believe that everyone has the power to create the life they want, especially those who are navigating chronic pain management. If you're willing to put in the work and stay committed to your dreams, you can truly learn to live life with fibromyalgia. I have come a long way in my own journey and really want to help others do the same.
With a bachelor's degree in Human Physiology and over 25 years of experience in various healthcare roles, I am passionate about sharing knowledge to assist others in feeling better and reclaiming their lives.
